I have a deep, long lasting fascination with the natural world. This is a place to collect my musings about my interactions and discoveries while I explore nature in all of its myriad guises.
In a pond near my home, I found what, at first, I thought was a beaver. But after photographing it for awhile I was able to see the tail - and discovered that it was, in fact, an otter.
I've recently become obsessed with learning to play the guitar. Now I'm also learning bass guitar and minimalist recording techniques. So my blog has morphed from a photo blog to a music one.
